The Company

Recognizing that there were no industry-wide mold maintenance standards, ToolingDocs was established in 2001 as a traveling seminar circuit to address mold maintenance throughout North America. The unique training program was developed in-house and designed around mold maintenance and repair best practices, and ToolingDocs established itself as a leading authority on the subject.

In 2008 the ToolingDocs Maintenance Center in Ashland, Ohio, was configured to provide an even more comprehensive training curriculum that includes both classroom and hands-on training. To date, hundreds of attendees have become Certified Repair Techs based off of the 8 Stages of Mold Repair.

Today, ToolingDocs has grown to provide multi-level maintenance certification training programs, mold cleaning and repair services, tool transfer and assessment consultation, as well as MoldTrax installation and training.

In addition, ToolingDocs offers a line of products designed to assist molding companies in their quest to cut costs and increase production efficiencies. These products include Maintenance Capability Assessments (MCA), On Site Training (OST) and Total Systems Implementation (TSI).

ToolingDocs supports the plastics industry through various means and has been the sponsor for the amerimold Expo Conference / MoldMaking Expo since 2004.

As a business unit of the PCIC Group of Companies, ToolingDocs is part of a comprehensive solution enabling total mold control.
