I am looking for a procedure or instrument to measure chrome plating thickness in small radiuses and slots on dies approximately .11 inch wide. The Delta scope I have works well on open surfaces, but I can't find a probe small enough for these radiuses and slots. I would like to find something that can give me these readings and is not destructive in nature.

Coating thickness gauges are available from DeFeisko Corp. They have a penlike gauge that is ideal for measuring small or hard-to-reach surfaces.
