IMM 8/95

We are looking for a sucker pin design for three-plate molds that will not accumulate material on the undercuts of the pins. We are running TPU. Any ideas?

Why change the design? We've been applying a blend of PTFE / electroless nickel to mold components used with various rubber, urethane, and PVC resins to provide extended wear life, corrosion resistance, and release, as well as to eliminate surface buildup.
