Training / Level 1 & 2 Combo Mold Repair Certification Training

Level 1 & 2 combo Mold repair Certification Training

ToolingDocs Level 1 & Level 2 Combo Mold Repair Certification Training is a 5-day program that encompasses the entire curriculum from the Level 1 and Level 2 certification courses, including standardized, documented maintenance methodologies, hands-on training, and skills enhancement segments on TIG welding and mold polishing.

Attendees will learn the following valuable skills:

  • Eight Stages of Systemized Mold Maintenance
  • Mold disassembly practices and techniques
  • How to develop and implement an effective mold maintenance plan
  • Basic mold terminology, shop and bench setup considerations, mold tooling component inspection and more.

Students in two-man teams will be required to accurately disassemble, evaluate, measure and determine PM frequencies and complete a mold condition assessment on a 32-cavity, 3-plate mold with tapered shut-offs using the appropriate (supplied) hand tools and their own bench skills. Students will work through all of the Eight Stages of Systemized Mold Maintenance, and determine appropriate corrective actions while applying the troubleshooting and bench techniques learned throughout the course.

This program is ideal for Molding Managers, Tooling Engineers, Process Technicians, and mold maintenance personnel who want to increase their knowledge of mold repair practices in a systemized maintenance structure within a molding plant.

A combination of classroom instruction and hands-on training has made ToolingDocs’ Mold Repair Certification program an inte-gral part of many companies’ core orienta-tion practices.
