Training / Level 2 Mold Repair Certification Training

Level 2 Mold Repair Certification Training

The Level 2 Mold Repair Certification Training is a three-day program that introduces standardized, documented maintenance methodology including rigorous, hands-on training. Students in two-man teams will be required to accurately disassemble, evaluate, measure and determine PM frequencies and complete a mold condition assessment on a 32-cavity, 3-plate mold with tapered shut-offs using the appropriate (supplied) hand tools and their own bench skills. Students will work through all of the Eight Stages of Systemized Mold Maintenance, and determine appropriate corrective actions while applying the troubleshooting and bench techniques learned throughout the course.

“Skills Enhancement” segments will focus on TIG welding and polishing techniques along with hot runner electrical diagnostics and wiring methods with hands-on instruction from industry experts.

This program is ideal for experienced Molding Managers, Tooling Engineers and mold maintenance personnel who desire more in-depth training in actual bench practices, as well as those who have previously completed the ToolingDocs Level 1 Certification.

Attendees learn valuable disassembly tech-niques during the hands-on training. View the video above to learn more about the benefits of ToolingDocs Training.
